About this Song
The pop recording "Pink 5ive" from the Philippines is by Silent Sanctuary, a six-piece alternative pop-rock band. Formed in 2002, the band is known for pioneering "Rockestra" by blending classical instruments like cello and violin with traditional band instrumentation. Silent Sanctuary has released an EP, "Kahimanawari," and four full-length albums: *Fuschiang Pag-ibig*, *Mistaken For Granted*, *Monodramatic*, and *Langit Luha*. Their music, often described as nostalgic and anthemic, has resonated with high school and college students across generations. The band's songs have also been featured in local movie and TV series soundtracks. Silent Sanctuary has performed internationally in the UAE, Singapore, Canada, Australia, and the United States. The current lineup includes Sarkie Sarangay on vocals and guitar, Ronnie Ropal on bass, Allen Calixto on drums, Kim Mirandilla Ng on violin and backup vocals, Anjo Inacay on cello, and Poch Villalon on synth and backup vocals.
