About this Song
The Pop recording "Masanay Ka Muna" from the Philippines is among the works by the six-piece alternative pop-rock band Silent Sanctuary, known for pioneering the integration of classical instruments like cello and violin with traditional band instrumentation. The group's signature "Rockestra" sound has yielded chart-topping hits and appearances in film and television soundtracks. Silent Sanctuary's music, often described as nostalgic and anthemic, has resonated across generations of students. The band, formed in 2002, has performed internationally since 2017 and has released an EP, "Kahimanawari," and four full-length albums: "Fuschiang Pag-ibig," "Mistaken For Granted," "Monodramatic," and "Langit Luha." The current lineup features Sarkie Sarangay, Ronnie Ropal, Allen Calixto, Kim Mirandilla Ng, Anjo Inacay, and Poch Villalon.
