About this Song
This Pop recording from the Philippines is titled "Malayo Na Tayo." Silent Sanctuary, a six-piece alternative pop-rock band formed in 2002, is known for pioneering "Rockestra," which blends classical instruments like cello and violin with traditional band instruments. The band's music, often described as nostalgic and anthemic, has resonated with high school and college students across generations. Silent Sanctuary has released an EP, "Kahimanawari," and four full-length albums: "Fuschiang Pag-ibig," "Mistaken For Granted," "Monodramatic," and "Langit Luha," which include chart-topping hits such as "Ikaw Lamang," "Pasensya Ka Na," "Kundiman," "Hiling," and "Bumalik Ka Na Sa’kin." Their songs have also been featured in original soundtracks for local movies and TV series like "Maalala Mo Sana," "Balang Araw," and "Sa’yo." The band has performed internationally in the UAE, Singapore, Canada, Australia, and the United States since 2017.
