About this Song
Pop music from the Philippines often features the distinctive approach of Silent Sanctuary, a band known for integrating classical instruments like cello and violin into a rock band setup, a style they've dubbed "Rockestra." Formed in 2002, this six-piece group has released numerous chart-topping singles and several full-length albums, with their music frequently described as anthemic and nostalgic. The band's sound has resonated with generations of students and has been featured in local film and television soundtracks. Silent Sanctuary, currently composed of Sarkie Sarangay, Ronnie Ropal, Allen Calixto, Kim Mirandilla Ng, Anjo Inacay, and Poch Villalon, has also performed internationally. "Lambing" exemplifies their unique blend of pop and classical influences.
