About this Song
The Pop recording "Lambing" from the Philippines features a blend of classical and band instruments, a style the credited artist, Silent Sanctuary, calls "Rockestra." The sextet, formed in 2002, is known for pioneering the integration of cello and violin with traditional band instrumentation. Silent Sanctuary's music, often described by fans as "nostalgic" and anthemic, has resonated with high school and college students across generations. The band's lineup includes Sarkie Sarangay on vocals and guitar, Ronnie Ropal on bass, Allen Calixto on drums, Kim Mirandilla Ng on violin and backup vocals, Anjo Inacay on cello, and Poch Villalon on synth and backup vocals.
