About this Song
The Filipino Pop recording "Hiling" is a chart-topping hit from the band Silent Sanctuary. This sextet, formed in 2002, pioneered the "Rockestra" sound, blending classical instruments like cello and violin with traditional band instrumentation. "Hiling" exemplifies their anthemic songwriting, which resonates with generations of students. Silent Sanctuary, composed of Sarkie Sarangay, Ronnie Ropal, Allen Calixto, Kim Mirandilla Ng, Anjo Inacay, and Poch Villalon, has performed internationally since 2017.
