Silent Sanctuary is a Filipino rock band formed in Metro Manila in 2001. The band mixes classical instruments like cello and violin with rock music, a sound they call "Rockestra." Founding members were Norman Dellosa, Paolo Legaspi, and Allen Calixto. Anjo Inacay joined as the fourth member, adding classical instrumentation. Jett Ramirez and Chino David later joined as formal members. In February 2004, Silent Sanctuary released their independently produced album, *Ellipsis of the Mind*. After Norman Dellosa's departure, Sarkie Sarangay took over vocal duties. Jason Rondero became the band's new bassist after Paolo Legaspi left. Silent Sanctuary's second album, *Fuchsiang Pag-ibig*, was released in 2007 under Universal Records. Notable songs from *Fuchsiang Pag-ibig* include "Ikaw Lamang," "Kundiman," and "14." Their third album, *Mistaken for Granted*, was released on March 27, 2009, under Universal Records and was produced by Rommel “Sancho” Sanchez and Buddy Zabala.
