About this Song
The Filipino rock band Silent Sanctuary, formed in Metro Manila in 2001, is known for its "Rockestra" sound, which blends classical instruments like cello and violin with rock music. This distinctive style is evident in their song "Sa'yo," which was also featured in a local movie or TV series soundtrack. The band's lineup has evolved since its inception with founding members Norman Dellosa, Paolo Legaspi, and Allen Calixto; Anjo Inacay joined as the fourth member, adding cello to their sound, followed by violist Jett Ramirez and violinist Chino David. Silent Sanctuary has released five studio albums, including "Ellipsis of the Mind" (2004), "Fuchsiang Pag-ibig" (2007), "Mistaken for Granted" (2009), "Monodramatic" (2013), and "Langit. Luha." (2015).
