Silent Sanctuary, a Filipino rock band formed in Metro Manila in 2001, is known for its "Rockestra" sound, which integrates classical instruments like cello and violin into rock music. The band's second album, *Fuchsiang Pag-ibig*, released in 2007 under Universal Records, features the song "Kundiman." This album also includes other notable songs such as "Ikaw Lamang" and "14." Silent Sanctuary's catalogue comprises five studio albums, beginning with their independently produced 2004 debut, *Ellipsis of the Mind*. Founding members Norman Dellosa, Paolo Legaspi, and Allen Calixto were later joined by cellist Anjo Inacay, violist Jett Ramirez, and violinist Chino David, solidifying their distinctive sound. After some lineup changes, including Sarkie Sarangay taking over vocals and Jason Rondero on bass, the band released *Mistaken for Granted* in 2009, *Monodramatic* in 2013, and *Langit. Luha.* in 2015.
