Sets at the world’s most iconic electronic music festivals have become a defining marker of the career of the duo behind the pop album Sick Individuals, a pair who have turned a shared love of electronic music into a global phenomenon that has resonated with listeners across every continent. Long before they graced the stages of Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Creamfields, Mysteryland, Ushuaïa, and S2O, the pair first met as students at the Dutch conservatory for Music, where Jim and Ray clicked instantly, their friendship and creative partnership rooted in a mutual fascination with the potential of electronic sound to bring large crowds together in shared joy. What began as casual conversations about their favorite artists soon evolved into a formal creative project, which they officially launched under the name Sick Individuals in 2009, turning their childhood and teenage admiration for dance music’s trailblazers into a career that has defied every expectation they held for their work.
