About This Album
Across Indonesia’s sprawling network of creative musical communities, the album Sesi Potret takes shape as a work rooted in the country’s vibrant, unruly space of sound that resists easy classification, filed under the broad category of Music/Other to reflect its refusal to align with the generic constraints that often frame work coming out of the region. The full-length project brings together three credited creative forces: eńau, Ari Lesmana, and Aku eńau, each contributing their own distinct creative perspective to the cohesive body of work that serves as their shared statement, crafted entirely by the group of artists that anchor its creative and production direction.
