About this Song
Pop music from the Philippines often features smooth vocal harmonies, a style Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid exemplify in "Hanggang Ngayon." Both artists are known for their extensive careers as singers, with Velasquez earning the moniker "Asia's Songbird" due to her powerful voice and wide vocal range. Alcasid, a prolific songwriter in addition to his singing, frequently incorporates romantic themes into his work. Their collaboration on "Hanggang Ngayon" showcases their combined experience in crafting heartfelt pop ballads, a staple of Filipino popular music.
