I'll Be Somebody You Want - Live Version

About this Song

Within the rich, evolving landscape of Filipino R&B, live recordings hold a distinct power to bridge the gap between the intimate act of creation and the shared, in-the-moment energy that binds performers to the rooms that show up for them, turning every choice made in the span of a single performance into something that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant, no matter how many times a listener returns to it. I'll Be Somebody You Want - Live Version leans into that power, drawing on the core traditions of R&B that have long anchored the Philippines’ vibrant music scene, where the genre has been reimagined, reworked, and woven into the cultural fabric of communities across the archipelago for generations, taking on local nuances that add layers of meaning to the familiar structural and emotional throughlines that define R&B as a global form.
