About this Song
Acoustic reimaginings of rock & roll core tracks often strip away the layers that anchor a work to its initial era of circulation, leaving only the structural and emotional bones that carry a sound across borders and audiences, and On My Way (Acoustic) emerges from that long, generous tradition of reworking familiar material to reveal new shades of meaning for listeners who might have encountered the original iteration in a completely different context. Rooted in the Philippines’ vibrant ecosystem of rock & roll creation and reinterpretation, this sound carries the weight of a lineage that has long adapted foundational rock & roll sensibilities to speak to local audiences, while retaining the raw, unpolished honesty that has made the genre a global touchstone for creative expression across every continent.
