This pop recording from the Philippines is titled "The Yes Yes Show." The credited artist, Parokya Ni Edgar, is known for witty pop-punk songs and often strange subject matter. The band formed in Ateneo High School in Manila, originally performing parodies of well-known songs under the name Comic Relief. After signing with Universal, the group released its 1996 debut, *Khangkhungkherrnitz the Album*, which went platinum in six months. The band's second full-length, *Buruguduystunstugudunstuy*, released a year later, ventured into more serious material while retaining comedic elements. Parokya Ni Edgar gained recognition when their "Harana" video was selected as the Asian Viewers' Choice at the MTV awards in New York City in 1999, and the group toured the U.S. in 2002.
