This Pop recording from the Philippines, titled "Pati Pato (Parokya Remix)," features the credited artists Parokya Ni Edgar. Formed in Ateneo High School in Manila, the band initially comprised vocalist Chito Miranda, back-up singer and dancer Vinci Montaner, guitarists Darius Semana and Gab CheeKee, bassist Buwi Meneses, and drummer Dindin Moreno. Originally known as Comic Relief, the group specialized in performing parodies of well-known songs. By 1994, the band became a fixture at Club Dredd, Manila's hub for alternative music. Their distinctive oddball outfits and goofy stage antics quickly established them as local favorites. The band's career progressed with a signing to Universal, facilitated by Richard Tan, who also managed Philippine punk groups The Youth and Teeth. The Youth's Robert Javier produced Parokya Ni Edgar's 1996 debut, *KHANGKHUNGKHERRNitZ The Album*. This unusually titled album achieved platinum status within six months of its release.
