This live pop recording from the Philippines is titled "Pangarap Lang Kita (Live)." The credited artist, Parokya Ni Edgar, is known for creating witty pop-punk songs, often with unusual subject matter. The band formed in Ateneo High School in Manila, Philippines, with six members: vocalist Chito Miranda, back-up singer and dancer Vinci Montaner, guitarists Darius Semana and Gab CheeKee, bassist Buwi Meneses, and drummer Dindin Moreno. Initially named Comic Relief, the group specialized in performing parodies of well-known songs. In 1994, the band began performing at Club Dredd, a hub for alternative music in Manila. Their distinctive outfits and humorous stage antics quickly made them local favorites. Parokya Ni Edgar eventually signed with Universal, a deal facilitated by Richard Tan, who also managed the Philippine punk groups The Youth and Teeth. Robert Javier of The Youth produced Parokya Ni Edgar's 1996 debut, *KHANGKHUNGKHERRNitZ The Album*.
