The Philippine pop song "Pagbati" is a recording by Parokya Ni Edgar, a band formed at Ateneo High School in Manila. The group, originally named Comic Relief, gained recognition for performing parodies of well-known songs and became local favorites at Manila's Club Dredd due to their distinctive outfits and stage antics. Their debut album, *KHANGKHUNGKHERRNitZ The Album*, went platinum in six months after its 1996 release. The band's second full-length, *BURUGUDUYSTUNSTUGUDUNSTUY*, released a year later, explored more serious themes while maintaining the comedic elements of their earlier work. Parokya Ni Edgar's "Harana" video received the Asian Viewers' Choice award at the MTV awards in New York City in 1999.
