This pop recording from the Philippines, "Lagi Mong Tatandaan," is by an artist known for writing witty pop-punk songs with often strange subject matter. The group, formed in Ateneo High School in Manila, specialized in performing parodies of well-known songs. Their oddball outfits and goofy stage antics made them local favorites, and they were eventually signed to Universal. The band's debut album went platinum in six months. They are known for irreverent antics, such as taking melodies from tunes by the Clash and Bob Dylan and fitting them with hilarious Tagalog lyrics. The group's second full-length effort found them venturing into some serious material while retaining comedic moments. In 1999, one of the band's videos was selected as the Asian Viewers' Choice at the MTV awards in New York City. The group toured the U.S. in 2002.
