This pop recording from the Philippines, "Chaleco (Filler)," is a standalone single. The title is not associated with the band Parokya Ni Edgar, who formed in Ateneo High School in Manila. Parokya Ni Edgar, originally named Comic Relief, gained popularity for performing parodies of well-known songs and their comedic stage presence. They signed with Universal and released their 1996 debut, *KHANGKHUNGKHERRNitZ The Album*, which achieved platinum status in six months. The band's second album, *BURUGUDUYSTUNSTUGUDUNSTUY*, released a year later, explored more serious themes while maintaining their characteristic humor. Parokya Ni Edgar's "Harana" video received the Asian Viewers' Choice award at the MTV awards in New York City in 1999, and the group toured the U.S. in 2002.
