Basketball Song Ni Darius
About this Song
This pop recording from the Philippines is titled "Basketball Song Ni Darius." The song features Darius Semana, one of the six founding members of the band Parokya Ni Edgar, a group known for their witty pop-punk songs and often strange subject matter. The band formed in Ateneo High School in Manila and specialized in performing parodies of well-known songs, initially under the name Comic Relief. Parokya Ni Edgar's irreverent antics, including taking melodies from other artists and fitting them with humorous Tagalog lyrics, have appealed to both mainstream audiences and underground followers.
