About this Song
Raised in Cebu City, Filipino singer and songwriter Jolianne Salvado, who performs mononymously as Jolianne, first stepped into the national entertainment landscape as a contestant on 2015’s The Voice Kids Philippines, an early turn that set the stage for a years-long career rooted in intentional, personal songcraft and genre-blending sound. After releasing her debut single “Irises” in 2019, she earned widespread streaming traction with her 2020 track “Halfway There,” which accumulated over 14 million streams on Spotify, a milestone that led to her 2021 signing with Careless Records. That same year, she took the stage as an opening act for legendary international acts Air Supply and Michael Learns To Rock, honing her live performance skills while steadily building her discography.
