About this Song
Jolianne, a singer and songwriter from Cebu City, Philippines, who performs mononymously, presents "Palayo Sa Mundo," a collaboration with singer Arthur Nery, as a significant entry in her discography, marking her first appearance on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 in January 2026, where it reached number 100. This 2025 release is the second collaboration between Jolianne and Nery, following their 2024 track "Lullaby." Jolianne's musical approach, which she describes as "Disney R&B," integrates pop, R&B, soul, and acoustic elements, reflecting a diverse palette of influences that include Ariana Grande, Whitney Houston, and Sabrina Carpenter, with Taylor Swift and SZA also cited as key inspirations for her songwriting. Her lyrical content frequently delves into personal experiences, relationships, and self-reflection, providing a narrative depth to her sound.
