About this Song
"Palayo Sa Mundo," a Music/Other recording from the Philippines, is a collaboration between Jolianne and Arthur Nery. This track marks their second joint effort, following "Lullaby" from Nery's 2024 album *II: The Second*. Released in October 2025, "Palayo Sa Mundo" entered the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 in late January 2026, reaching No. 48 by late February, and was Jolianne's first appearance on the chart. By March 2026, the song had surpassed 25 million streams on Spotify, and by August 2026, it had crossed 70 million streams. Jolianne, a Filipino singer and songwriter from Cebu City, first gained public attention at age 11 as a contestant on *The Voice Kids Philippines Season 2* in 2015. She describes her musical style, which incorporates pop, R&B, soul, and acoustic influences, as "Disney R&B," and her lyrics often explore personal experiences, relationships, and self-reflection. Jolianne cites Ariana Grande, Whitney Houston, and Sabrina Carpenter as musical influences.
