About this Song
Shirebound is the creative force behind the sound work titled Pahintulot, a recording rooted in the cultural and geographic context of the Philippines, carrying the mark of the artist’s unique creative perspective that shapes every part of their output. Unlike works that are slotted into preexisting genre frameworks to align with widespread industry categorization norms, Pahintulot exists without the constraints of assigned genre labels, allowing the work to stand on its own terms rather than being filtered through the expectations that come with preassigned categorical tags that often erase the specificity of a creator’s vision.
