About this Song
This pop recording from the Philippines, "Yer so Special," is by Orange & Lemons, an indie pop/alternative rock band that formed in 1999. The group’s musical genres mix alternative rock, indie pop, and experimental music, heavily influenced by bands like The Smiths, The Beatles, and the Eraserheads. After parting ways in 2007, the band announced a reformation as a trio in July 2017 and released the single "Lovers Go, Lovers Come" in December 2017. To commemorate the 15th Anniversary of their debut album, O&L released a 2018 Updated Version of their debut album, *Love in the Land of Rubber Shoes & Dirty Ice Cream (15th Anniversary Edition)*, on June 8, 2018. In December 2018, the band adopted a live keyboardist, Jared Nerona, who eventually contributed arrangements to the band’s Tagalog album *La Bulaqueña*, released in April 2022.
