The Filipino pop recording "La Bulaqueña" is from a 2022 album of the same name, which features arrangements by keyboardist Jared Nerona. Nerona, formerly of The Space Flower Show, joined the band as a live keyboardist in December 2018. This followed the group's reformation in July 2017, after a ten-year hiatus. The band, which formed in 1999, released the single "Lovers Go, Lovers Come" in December 2017. In June 2018, they issued an updated version of their debut album, *Love in the Land of Rubber Shoes & Dirty Ice Cream (15th Anniversary Edition)*, to commemorate its fifteenth anniversary. Their 2005 sophomore album, *Strike Whilst the Iron Is Hot*, achieved double platinum status, and their final album before their hiatus, *Moonlane Gardens*, was named Album of the Year at the 2007 NU Rock Awards.
