Formed in 1999 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Clem Castro, alongside drummer Ace Del Mundo and his brother JM del Mundo on bass, the Filipino group behind the pop recording Eleven Minutes built its decades-spanning career around a dynamic fusion of sounds that drew from both international and local trailblazers, establishing it as one of the most enduring acts to emerge from the Philippines’ independent and mainstream music scenes. Second vocalist Mcoy Fundales joined the group from its founding, anchoring its early vocal dynamic as the band refined a signature blend of alternative rock, indie pop, and experimental textures, pulling creative inspiration from well-respected, era-spanning acts including The Smiths, The Beatles, and iconic Filipino band the Eraserheads.
