Orange & Lemons, the Filipino group that shaped the country’s alternative and pop landscape across more than two decades of work, counts Caught in a Line among its pop outputs rooted in the rich, diverse music scene of the Philippines. The band first formed in 1999, founded by singer-songwriter and guitarist Clem Castro, who brought together drummer Ace Del Mundo and the drummer’s brother, JM del Mundo, on bass to build the group’s core lineup. From its earliest days, Mcoy Fundales joined as a second vocalist, a role he held through the band’s entire first run, which stretched all the way to its initial dissolution in 2007.
