About this Song
The pop recording "Awit Ni Maria Clara" from the Philippines is part of Orange & Lemons' 2022 album *La Bulaqueña*. This song contributes to the band's catalog, which includes their 2005 double-platinum album *Strike Whilst the Iron Is Hot* and the 2007 NU Rock Awards Album of the Year, *Moonlane Gardens*. The band, formed in 1999, is known for its blend of alternative rock, indie pop, and experimental music, with influences from groups like The Smiths and The Beatles. Following a hiatus and reformation in 2017, Orange & Lemons released the single "Lovers Go, Lovers Come" and a 15th-anniversary edition of their debut album. Jared Nerona, who joined as a live keyboardist in 2018, contributed arrangements to *La Bulaqueña*, the album featuring "Awit Ni Maria Clara."
