About this Song
What began as an urgent, unshakable quake pulled from the innermost core of a creator’s being would unfurl into the third studio project that would come to be known as Buzz, with the pop sound Before, rooted in the creative landscape of the Philippines, anchoring the quiet, anticipatory stretch of time that precedes every big shift the album centers. The songwriting that defines every piece of work tied to this era, including Before, remains as intimate as it was in any prior chapter of the creator’s output, leaning into the hard-earned wisdom that comes from stepping forward toward what you want most, unflinching in the face of the unknown that waits on the other side of every choice.
