About this Song
The artist behind Crazy For You operates within the rich, ever-evolving ecosystem of R&B that has thrived across the Philippines, a creative space that nurtures creators who engage with the core tenets of R&B while grounding their work in the cultural contexts that define their relationship to the genre and their audience. R&B as a genre has held a consistent, beloved place in Philippine music culture for generations, with creators across the archipelago drawing from the global evolution of R&B’s core forms while infusing their own lived experiences, cultural reference points, and creative sensibilities that make their work distinct to their home country, even as it resonates with audiences who recognize the universal throughlines that tie all iterations of R&B together.
