Nang Dahil Sa Pag Ibig
About this Song
The creative community that forms the backbone of the Philippines’ R&B ecosystem draws from decades of shared practice, cross-pollination between local creative traditions and the global evolution of the genre, and a collective commitment to expanding the boundaries of what R&B can be, while honoring the core frameworks that have made the genre an enduring staple of creative expression across the world. This community, made up of creators who have built spaces for R&B to thrive across the archipelago, nurtures works that carry the weight of the genre’s history while pushing it forward to meet the needs and perspectives of current audiences, tying each new recording to a long line of creators who have called the Philippines’ R&B scene their creative home.
