Paint My Love - Music Travel Love ft. Dave Moffatt (The Ruins, Bantayan Islands, Philippines)
About this Song
Nestled into the quiet, crumbling grandeur of The Ruins on the Philippines’ Bantayan Islands, the recording of Paint My Love captures the core of what the Music Travel Love project was built to create: a piece of pop music that is as tied to the specific, magical space it was captured in as it is to the song that inspired it, an acoustic cover of the Michael Learns to Rock track that reinterprets the original through the collective’s roaming, place-first creative practice, which sees them set up impromptu studio spaces in awe-inspiring locations across the globe, turning every new site they visit into both a backdrop and a silent collaborator in every track they release.
