About this Song
Porte, the creator behind Meliora, crafts the track from a base in the Philippines, leaning into the layered rhythmic traditions of Afrobeat and amapiano to anchor a sound that fits seamlessly into the global community of cross-cultural creators elevated by Music For You, the tastemaking platform that first built its reputation on a simple, unwavering mission: to support the artists and music its team loves. What began as a passion project for curators who wanted to share work that resonated with them grew into one of the internet’s most influential YouTube channels for new music, a leading space that introduces audiences to everything from first-time emerging talents to globally recognized names, having previously featured work from beloved artists including Emma Péters, Zubi, Tamahau, and OMER BALIK, among a long roster of creators whose work has found a loyal audience through the channel’s consistent, thoughtful uploads.
