About this Song
Rooted in the creative landscape of the Philippines, this cross-genre Amapiano sound rooted in Afrobeat carries the cross-cultural exchange that defines much of the region’s thriving independent music ecosystem, centered on the work Deepaura - Shadow Steps. The sound is amplified by Rebel Musique Records, the team that powers Music For You, the platform founded to lift up the artists and music its core team believes in, and that has grown from a small passion project into one of the most influential tastemaking spaces for independent and established music creators alike.
