About this Song
Rooted in the Philippines’ thriving community of creators who draw from global sounds to shape distinct, original work, CruZ - Ascend emerges as an Amapiano and Afrobeat sound that fits neatly into the landscape of boundary-pushing work elevated by the regional and international curators that support independent and established artists alike. The platform that elevates this sound, Music For You, was founded on a simple, clear mission to lift up artists and music its team loves, and over the years it grew from that small core idea to become one of the leading online tastemakers for music, as well as one of the most influential YouTube channels for audiences seeking consistent, thoughtful curation of new and established work.
