About this Song
Killin' This Bass emerges from the thriving, interconnected network of hip-pop creators and audiences in the Philippines, a space where the genre’s core tensions and innovations have been nurtured as part of the country’s rich, decades-long legacy of reimagining global popular music forms to reflect and elevate local lived experiences, while contributing distinct, widely resonant creative perspectives to the global evolution of hip-pop as a cross-cultural, boundary-blending category of music.
