About this Song
Rooted in the creative ecosystems of the Philippines, this pop sound carries the distinct perspective of an artist working within the country’s thriving community of pop creators, whose work shapes and redefines what pop from the region can sound like, while leaning into the core pop frameworks that resonate across global audiences while staying anchored to the specific contexts that make the work feel personal and specific to the place it emerged from. Titled My Style, the sound leans into the pop genre’s inherent flexibility to center an artistic identity that is unapologetically rooted in the experience of creating music within the Philippines, a space where creators continuously push the boundaries of pop to weave in layers of personal expression that align perfectly with the title’s core assertion of individual creative perspective.
