About this Song
From her base in Manila, Philippines, Mi’Kel crafts R&B tunes laced with distinct Filipino influence as a member of Greenhouse Records, building a discography that includes the layered, emotionally rooted sound of Wag Sosobra, alongside a sprawling list of independent releases, collaborative tracks, and high-profile placements across global film and television. A singer-songwriter and dynamic vocalist, Mi’Kel’s music blends R&B-rooted, pop-sculpted sounds shaped by the influence of iconic artists who have guided her artistic approach: Adele, Kelly Clarkson, H.E.R., Jessie J, and Tori Kelly, each leaving their mark on the intentional, accessible work she creates. Her catalog is unified by a consistent focus on themes of truth, body positivity, emotional healing, and resilience, threads that run through every track she releases, from her earliest independent work to the polished songs she creates today.
