About this Song
Loonie’s years navigating unthinkable personal and professional upheaval, from a wrongful 2019 frame-up that led to unjust imprisonment to his full vindication in 2022, laid the raw, unfiltered foundation for his much-awaited comeback album, Meron Na, a project that distills every hard-won lesson and unspoken truth of that period into work that balances unflinching self-reckoning with a deep celebration of collaborative creative community. He anchors the entire album in the belief that collaboration remains one of the most powerful tools for crafting resonant, lasting music, enlisting a roster of some of the most vital voices in Philippine hip-hop to bring his vision to life, including established artists Flow G, Omar Baliw, JRLDM, Smugglaz, and fast-rising new talent Hev Abi, just a small selection of the creators who contribute to the record’s rich, layered identity.
