About this Song
Rooted in the Philippine pop landscape, MC Battle (Skit) appears on Loonie’s much-awaited comeback album Meron Na, a project that anchors the artist’s return to recording after a period of profound personal and public upheaval. Loonie builds Meron Na around the core belief that collaboration elevates creative work, drawing together a roster of established Philippine hip-hop artists to contribute to the album’s dynamic, varied landscape. Among the names enlisted to join the project are Flow G, Omar Baliw, JRLDM, and Smugglaz, veteran voices in the local scene, alongside rising new talent Hev Abi, whose inclusion adds a fresh perspective to the album’s collective creative energy. The project’s production roster is just as stacked, pairing Loonie’s vision with the work of respected studio creators Yung Bawal, Klumcee, Jim P, Apoc, and Ochomil, each bringing their own distinct approach to shaping the album’s sound.
