About this Song
Loonie has spent years cementing his place in the Philippine music landscape, and his much-awaited comeback album Meron Na makes clear that his presence in the scene is only growing, rooted in a commitment to honesty, collaboration, and storytelling that ties every part of his work to both his personal journey and the broader community of creators he lifts up. Core to the narratives that unfold across Meron Na are the untold stories of Loonie’s own life, including the traumatic period of a 2019 frame-up that led to his unjust imprisonment, a chapter that closed with his full vindication in 2022, an experience that shapes the unflinching candor of every track on the record.
