About this Song
The Philippine pop recording "Ikigai (feat. Loonie)" features rapper Loonie. His 2023 comeback album, *Meron Na*, includes collaborations with fellow Philippine hip-hop artists such as Flow G, Omar Baliw, JRLDM, Smugglaz, and Hev Abi. The music on *Meron Na* was produced by Yung Bawal, Klumcee, Jim P, Apoc, and Ochomil. Loonie's album shares his experiences, including his 2019 arrest and subsequent 2022 vindication, which he discusses in the seven-minute track "Tugmang Preso." Another track from the album, "Pamanggulo," features JRLDM and explores themes of being overlooked and the struggles of those in between, extending to mid-life challenges and the search for purpose.
