About this Song
Rooted in the layered landscape of Philippine popular music, Gugmang Preso emerges from the creative orbit of Loonie, whose long-awaited comeback album Meron Na cements his enduring place in the country’s music ecosystem. Loonie frames his return around a core belief that collaboration remains one of the most powerful tools to craft resonant, lasting work, and to that end, he brings together a roster of fellow Philippine Hip-Hop creators that includes Flow G, Omar Baliw, JRLDM, and Smugglaz, alongside rising new voice Hev Abi, with more artists joining the project’s expansive lineup to add their own distinct perspectives.
