About this Song
LANY, an American pop band, recorded "Soft" in the Philippines. The trio formed in Los Angeles in 2014, taking their name from an acronym for "Los Angeles New York" to represent their desire to spread their music across the United States. LANY built an early following by releasing songs anonymously online, with their track "Hot Lights" generating thousands of streams in just days. The band's melodic, synth-driven sound, often featuring introspective lyrics and a blend of electronic and R&B influences, quickly became their signature. Their debut EP, *Acronyms*, released shortly after their formation, helped solidify their presence in the indie pop scene.
