About this Song
The FOR THE WORLD project, built to celebrate creative connection across every region of the globe, centers the shared joy of music that spans borders and cultural differences, weaving together distinct voices to form a cohesive collection that honors the breadth of artistic expression across all continents. At the core of this project’s pop offerings is Sound Of Rain, a work rooted in the vibrant creative ecosystem of the Philippines, that aligns perfectly with the project’s mission to lift up works from every corner of the world, tying them together through a foundation of care and shared appreciation for the power of creative work to bring people closer. Pop as a genre has long served as a universal bridge for that kind of cross-cultural connection, its flexible, widely resonant structure letting creators infuse their work with the unique sensibilities of their home regions while crafting sounds that reach audiences thousands of miles from where the recording was first developed.
