About this Song
It Even Rains In LA carries a quiet, recognizable specificity that anchors the pop work’s place in a larger creative project framed explicitly as FOR THE WORLD, a collection rooted in Philippine creative practice that reaches across continental and cultural divides to meet audiences wherever they engage with the music. The title’s reference to Los Angeles, a city that looms large in global popular imagination as a site of endless sunshine, mythic glamour, and the kind of perpetual perfection that feels out of reach for most people, turns that widely held myth on its head by centering a small, shared human truth: even the places that are framed as unshakably sunny, unendingly perfect, carry the same small, soft, unglamorous moments of ordinary weather that everyone else experiences.
