About this Song
Rooted in the cross-continental creative vision that defines the FOR THE WORLD project, It Even Rains In LA emerges as a pop sound crafted in the Philippines, positioned within a collection that centers connection, care, and shared experience across every corner of the globe. The globes and hearts that anchor the project’s core description signal a commitment to centering global solidarity, turning music into a thread that weaves together audiences who may be separated by thousands of miles of ocean, language barriers, or cultural differences, but who can find common ground in the melodies and narratives that pop music cultivates so effectively. As a pop creation hailing from the Philippines, this sound adds a vital, distinct layer to the FOR THE WORLD project, expanding the scope of voices that get to contribute to the cross-cultural tapestry the collection works to build.
