About this Song
Rooted in the creative landscape of the Philippines, where pop creators regularly craft work that resonates with both local listenership and the vast global network of Filipino fans and creative peers, Act My Age fits seamlessly into the mission of the album it anchors, FOR THE WORLD. That project, marked by symbols of global unity and planetary care that signal its core aim of connecting audiences across every continent, uses pop as its primary medium, a choice that aligns with the genre's longstanding ability to cross linguistic and cultural barriers to create shared points of connection. As a pop sound emerging from the Philippines, Act My Age carries that same core impulse of reaching beyond immediate borders to meet listeners wherever they are, tying into the album's overarching vision of creating work that belongs to every person, no matter where they call home.
